Jada McKenzie

Kids & Youth Kickboxing

Jada McKenzie is the lead coach of the Apex kids kickboxing and youth kickboxing programs.  Jada’s primary focus is to teach our students kickboxing fundamentals, while instilling the values of physical fitness and discipline.   In her classes, students learn valuable self-defense skills and gain confidence which will stay with them throughout life.

Jada trains in Kickboxing under coach Don Rodger and continues to excel.  She is currently training for her first kickboxing bout in October 2022 at the IKF Fall Classic.

Jada began her lifelong participation in sports when she was just five years old.  She found and fell in love with soccer through which she developed discipline and leadership skills.  While competing with the GCAA Cleveland Stars in middle school, Jada was promoted to the captain position.  She went on to play high school soccer and was captain of the junior varsity team and defensive captain of the varsity team.  Jada also participated in track and field and weight training while in school.

Outside of the gym, Jada is a first-grade Instructional Assistant (IA).  She is working towards a degree in education.

With her passion for kickboxing and love of teaching, Jada is a great fit for our kids and youth programs.
