Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

What to Expect at BJJ Class

When you attend an Adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class, you can rest assured that you will learn the art of BJJ in a safe and enjoyable environment.

If you are new to BJJ, your initial class will be spent learning a few basic submissions.  Your instructor will pair you with an experienced student to practice these submissions.  Your partner will give you time to drill them until you feel comfortable, at which time he will add resistance.  Learning how to apply a submission and quickly adapt when it is defended provides insight into this technical martial art.

If you have experience in BJJ, the instructor will likely pair you with a partner and assess your skill level.  This will give him/her a baseline to build a plan to improve your game.

Our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program is taught by multiple BJJ Black Belt instructors with decades of experience and knowledge at the highest levels.  They will be on the mat training with you, and they’ll be able to give you personal feedback to help you progress.
